Mind Space Open to Caregivers and Parents

Hello everyone,

I’m pleased to share an important update about Mind Space, our virtual mental health support program at A New Day Youth and Adult Services.

We have now expanded Mind Space to include caregivers and parents of youth who are at risk of, or currently involved in, sexual exploitation. This addition reflects what many of us are seeing across the sector—caregivers need accessible, trauma-informed support to navigate complex and often overwhelming situations.

Mind Space offers free, low-barrier virtual support, including:

• Access to two clinical therapists

• Support from two trained peer mentors with lived experience

• A safe, confidential, and trauma-informed space for connection and guidance

No referral is required. Youth, caregivers, and parents can access this resource directly on their own terms.

Sessions are available virtually and can be accessed through our website. Booking is simple and can be done using the Jane App (available on both Android and iPhone), helping to remove additional barriers to care.

This program is designed to complement existing supports by strengthening caregiver capacity, improving relational stability, and supporting better outcomes for youth experiencing or at risk of exploitation.

We encourage you to share this resource widely within your networks, particularly with families who may benefit from immediate and accessible support.
